Steven K. Budd Former President Global Sales & Marketing PDI

Steven K. Budd has been the president of PDI's Global Sales & Marketing Services since August 2003. He has responsibility for PDI's service businesses, inclusive of outsourced sales force solutions, medical education and marketing research. In addition, Mr. Budd manages PDI's global relationship with In2Focus, a United Kingdom based contract sales organization, and is a member of their board.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Budd served as President and COO of PDI. In that role, he oversaw the management of PDI's key internal operations and contributed to the development of PDI's strategic plans. He continues to serve on the company's Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Finance Committee, and chairs the PDI Commercial Operating Leadership Team. Since joining PDI in April 1996 as vice president, Account Group Sales, Mr. Budd became executive vice president in July 1997, COO in January 1998, and president and COO in June 2000. Prior to joining PDI, he held senior level positions at PDN (now the Professional Sales Division of Publicis) and Innovex, Inc.

Mr. Budd has been involved in the outsourced sales industry since its formative years and is a respected expert on U.S. Healthcare outsourcing trends. He is a member of several advisory panels on the subject of sales and marketing outsourcing, and has authored multiple articles on issues facing the industry today. Mr. Budd received a B.A. in History and Education from Susquehanna University in 1978.
